Title: Sr. QA Tester

IL - BLOOMINGTON

Duration: 6+ months

Rate: $50/hr on C2C basis

 

Client: CSC

In case of H1b consultants Visa copy is a must.

 

Overall Exp. (in years) : 8+ Years 

- Demonstrates the experience and ability to plan systems and acceptance test strategies and approaches for independent verification and validation of target application software under test.
- Apply technical and testing expertise to ensure test coverage for business and technical requirements
- Create, maintain and debug performance test scripts, create performance test scenarios, execute performance tests, report defects and assist in troubleshooting efforts
- Document test scripts and test scenarios, generate test result reports and trending report and provide high level results analysis.
- Design test plans based on non-functional requirements and in the absence of requirements
- Analyze system/application architecture to identify testing entry points to reduce project risk.
- Need to create KPIs and gather/report on metrics for the department.
- Coordination of multiple test efforts for monthly release cycles.
- Must possess data analysis/management skills.
- Proven and demonstrated experience and ability to design and develop detailed test procedure specifications for automated execution of system test cycles and simulations.
- Strong ability to work without technical oversight.
- Design requirements around responsiveness and stability
- Define a strategy that considers both think time and response time
- Plot graphs showing response time vs total number of users and other useful data to drive feature development
- Build an approach that eliminates false results due to caching
- Potentially building functional automation and occasionally manual testing as needed
