Position: Real User Monitoring Consultant

Location: San Rafael, CA

Duration: 3-6+ Months (Contract)

Rate: Open

 

Requirements:

·  5+ year of strong working experience in Application Performance monitoring

·  Specialized in Real User Monitoring /Transaction Based Monitoring experience

·  Synthetic Monitoring experience would be a big plus

·  Experience with products like New relic, DynaTrace, AppDynamics, HP Site Scope, SOASTA mPulse

·  Self-starter who is able to take ownership of technical issues in Monitoring

·  Hands on knowledge of Java, HTML, XML, Python , Ruby , Java Script

·  Experience working in cross-functional, multi-location teams

 

Responsibilities:

·  Evaluation and implementation of Real user monitoring for the New Order Application based on best practices and standards

·  Define, develop and implement monitoring methodologies to gain improvement in availability , efficiency and scalability,  visibility in systems

·  Automate and optimize monitoring processes

·  Develop tools and scripts to improve our ability to rapidly deploy and effectively monitor custom applications in a large-scale distributed environment

·  Additional responsibilities include mentoring the offshore team, establish a metrics and data-driven environment, tracking the current tasks of the offshore team members, and escalating issues as needed.

·  Support the offshore team on prioritization, coordinate root cause analysis (RCA) efforts on all Monitoring issues

·  Technical support tasks within the team will also be a big part of the job, such as break/fix support and change implementation
