Experience:
- 5+ years working with insurance underwriting and policy administration systems.
- 3-5 years' experience in working in a Services Oriented Architecture (SOA) environment and web services.
- Firm understanding of Software Architecture, Design Patterns, and Middleware.
- Firm understanding of Web client and server-side technologies.
- 5+ years working with Internet technologies.
Skills:
- Java Tech.: J2SE, J2EE – JSP, Servlet
- Scripting Language: HTML 5.0, AngularJS, DOJO, JavaScript
- Framework: Struts 2.0
- Dev. Tools: Eclipse
- Databases: DB2 (SQL)
- App. Server: Tomcat 7.0
- Strong problem-solving skills across both process and technical domains.
- Strong oral, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Must be self-motivated and demonstrate initiative.
- Customer-service oriented and able to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
Education:
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
