Position:Clarity Developer

Location:  Boston, MA

Duration: 1+Year

JOB REQUIREMENTS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Support the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office's (EPMO) implementation of CA PPM 14.x (Clarity).

-Security design and administration specific to the Client's needs

-Creating and modifying Portlets to improve usability and efficiency of the EPMO and its partners

-Database support

-Production support

-Participating in the analysis and implementation of necessary configuration and customization activities

-Problem diagnosis and resolution

-Performance tuning to ensure that Clarity is responsive to all users

-Support for Advanced Reporting using the Jasper Server Integration

-Ensure that all maintenance and configuration work on EPMO Clarity is accurately documented

-Other work as necessary

-Improve the integration of Clarity with other enterprise technology.

-Support the migration of tested Clarity configuration data between Clarity Development, QA and Production environments.

-Support keeping the CA PPM software current by installing and testing patches and releases

-Provide support of our client's production instance of Clarity (v.13.3), fixing known issues and addressing new requirements.

-Mentor Enterprise Tools staff on the use of Clarity Administrative procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

-Demonstrated experience with the CA Clarity Project and Portfolio Management system

-5+ years' industry experience, B.S in Computer Science or equivalent.

-Strong Project Management methodology exposure

-Experience in deploying, upgrading and configuring CA Clarity PPM

-Comfortable with software development projects and rigorous

Quality Assurance testing

-Enjoy working in a team-focused and collaborative environment.

-YOU LOVE TO DEBUG AND SOLVE CUSTOMER PROBLEMS._

-Must be willing to be on stand-by to support production application 24/7.

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

-Strong Windows and Linux scripting skills.
