Job Title:   Hadoop Administration Consultant
Location:   Phoenix, AZ
Duration:   3-6 Months Contract
 
Required Experience
Solid, hands-on Hadoop administrator experience
Firm knowledge of HDFS and MapReduce (preferably MapR distribution. Not Required)
Experience in configuring Flume, Sqoop, Hive, Pig, H-base, and FairScheduler & other Hadoop Ecosystem tools.
Experience in Hadoop & ecosystem patches&upgrades, excellent bash scripting, troubleshooting Hadoop Job failures and cluster issues.
Experience setting up clusters, preferably from the ground up.
Experience maintaining and monitoring clusters
A firm handle on  system administration issues within the Hadoop ecosystem and associated components such as Flume, Sqoop, Hive, Pig, and HBase, Datameer, Talend….
