Position: Splunk Developer

Location: Atlanta, GA

Duration: 6+ Months

 

JD

·        Experience 6+ years

·        Splunk Dashboard development and infrastructure monitoring experience

·        Design, develop and implementation of charts, graphs and drilldowns in Splunk

·        Work with the team to migrate application, configuration and schedule jobs in production

·        Analyzing logs, Building Searches and visualize them using dashboarding capabilities of Splunk as per business requirements.

·        Splunk Admin activities like Forwarder management, Data Ingestion, Indexing and Field extractions using Splunk IFX.

·        Implementation of Alerting capabilities to send alerts for highlighting system outages and application errors.

·        Installation of Splunk Forwarders in order to forward data from variety of sources to Splunk Indexers as per system architecture.

·        Managed Roles and Security in Splunk for better security and visibility.

·        Splunk Reporting capabilities to implement and enhance reporting as per business requirements.

·        Implementation of Dynamic Drilldowns which provides greater flexibility to the end user.

·        Responsible for Design and Build of Dashboards and performance tuning of dashboard searches.

·        Experience in creating SQL queries and joins

·        Ability to translate business requirements into UI and query development

·        Good communication skills and analytical skills is a must

·        Knowledge of HTML/CSS/ JS
