Looking for a SSIS Developer with Prior Wellpoint or Anthem Exp.

 

SSIS Developer

Woodland Hills,CA

6 Months

 

Mandatory skills:

 

·         SQL Server 2008

·         SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)

·         Good communication skills as resource needs to directly work with business.

·         Prior Anthem Experience

 

 

Other preferred skills:

 

·         Experience in web based application development (preferably .Net – Visual Studio)

·         SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)

 

 

'Good to have' skills:

·         Microsoft Excel – Advanced features (For eg: Creating charts, pivot table, database connections, macros, etc.,)

·         Business Object reporting/BI Tools

 

 

Job Description:

 

 

·         Gather requirements from client business team.

·         Develop SSIS packages based on data requirements.

·         Enhance/Fix issues if any in existing SSIS packages, as and when required.

·         Performance tuning and suggest process improvements.

·         Monitor, run SSIS packages and verify daily data load to the database.

·         Help in ad hoc data requests and in development of excel reports based on business requirement.
