E-commerce Business Analyst

Location: Melville, NY

Interview: Phone + In-person

Duration : Long Term

 

The E-commerce business analysts works with both business and IT teams to identify, analyze, and document the e-commerce needs and requirements the company and also assists business users in resolving operational system issues.

 

Responsible for the following:

·         Gather and analyze business needs and create detailed specifications and use cases

·         Identify data flows, data functions, user interactions

·         Lead meetings with business/IT groups regarding enhancement requests and open support tickets, accurately record discussions, decisions and action items

·         Assist the project manager in following up and prioritizing development

·         Create and execute test scenarios and test cases, working closely with QA team

·         Coordinate and participate in integration and user testing

·         Review and help troubleshoot break/fix issues and provide operational support.

 

Skills:

·         Expertise in sales and order management systems

·         Knowledge and understanding of key eCommerce functions like site browsing and navigation, checkout flow, order fulfillment, payment processing, order shipment etc.

·         Know the functionalities and features of the main Web browsers

·         Be proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite

·         Be familiar with database query tools

·         Be able to write clear Business Requirements and User Stories

·         Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
