Job Title: Data Modeler

Location: Bloomfield, CT

Duration: 12 months+

Rate $55/hr on c2c

 

Job Description:

•Data modeling experience in Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server and DB2 databases

•Healthcare knowledge

•Information Management or Data warehouse experience

-Create the logical data model and work closely with the Database Administrator with the translation of the logical model into a workable physical model using a recent version of an appropriate CASE tool

- Generation and testing of ddl from CASE tool

- Knowledge of database architecture, performance design methodologies, and ability to make and implement physical tuning recommendations

- Generation of Data Dictionary from CASE tool

- Coordinate with the necessary system element data architects to ensure integration with

other data architecture activities.

- Responsible for producing and maintaining conceptual and logical data models, and physical data architecture of data warehouses, data marts, operational data stores or OLTP Repositories

- Analyze business requirements and translate into data rules

- Develop data models for new repositories

- Enhance existing repositories

- Review and approve new data models or enhancements to existing ones

- Serve as advisors and subject matter experts on project teams

- Assist in data analysis and metadata management

- Assist Data Architects in establishing strategies and new directions

- Effectively operate within a team of technical and business professionals

- Experience developing logical and Physical data models.

- Knowledgeable and demonstrated experience in: Data models for data warehouses and data marts.

- Data standards and metadata management. Data modeling methods and tools.
