Position : Oracle Big Data Architect
Location : Boston, MA
Duration : 3 months plus extension till Dec 2016

Production Administration of a multi-cluster, multi-node Cloudera environment on Oracle Big Data Appliance with Cloudera Manager.
Upgrades and Patching of same using Mammoth.
Deep experience in Hive and accessing Hive from SQL Databases.
Hands-on experience architecting and configuring Sentry.
 Development and Execution of SOPs and Run Books for standup, run/maintain/upgrade.
Development and Execution of Backup and Resiliency Architecture.
Ability to documentation for integrating the Exadata and BDA environment including BD SQL

 

Nice to have Skills:
SOLR configuration and tuning.
Configuration and Tuning of WANDisco for resiliency.
Oracle Enterprise Manager for monitoring of BDA.
Experience integrating Teradata with Cloudera
