Job Title: PeopleSoft Project Manager

Duration: 12 Months

Type: Contract

Location: Madison, WI

 

Description: 

PeopleSoft Project Manager. Assist with the HCM 9.0- 9.2 Upgrade and Responsible for: 

·         Project management and oversight of deliverables for database administration, system administration, development, security, change control, batch processing, hardware, and interface/integration activities. Note: There is an overall Project Manager, the Technical Plan will roll-up to the overall upgrade plan 

·         Oversight and, as needed, direction for key business partners as they complete interfacing and integrating project activities. 

·         Assisting with organizing work and validating technical effort estimates. 

·         Working with UW Infrastructure Manager and UW Development Manager to route work items to team members for completion, as needed. 

·         Working with functional, onsite and Remote Lab technical teams to facilitate issue resolution and completion of deliverables. 

·         As needed, performing code review of selected deliverables and validate unit test results. 

·         Escalating issues which affect delivery and quality. 

·         Supervising Security Lead. 

·         In coordination with the UW Infrastructure Manager and UW Development Manager, providing accurate and detailed weekly task reports to Project Directors, Project Managers, and Project Management Office Members.

Skills:

Administration - Project Management

Experienced project manager or leader                                                   7 Yrs.

Project Management knowledge and skills applied to a PeopleSoft         7 Yrs.

 

Information Technology - Languages/Tools

PeopleSoft Upgrades                                                                            7 Yrs.

PeopleSoft - General

PeopleSoft Project Management / Technical Lead                                   7 Yrs.

PeopleSoft HR Solutions

General knowledge of PeopleSoft HR systems                                       7 Yrs.

 

Nice to Have

PeopleSoft - General
