Position : Business Data Analyst
Location : Mclean, VA
Duration : 6+ Months
Looking for EAD, GC and USC only No H1's
Interview Process: Phone and In person ( Skype may work – on case by case basis)
Relevant Experience:4 - 7 Years ( Please don't send resumes of candidates with 8+ years)
Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science /IT /Statistics. Relevant Certification or Work Experience|
Key Skill Sets Required:
Experience in Data Analytics, Data Modeling, Data warehousing.
Experience in Data Analytics, Data Modeling, Data warehousing.
Hand-on experience in SQL, RDBMS (Oracle/UDB/Sybase). Able to Understand SAS code Statement of Work
Experience gathering, analyzing and articulating high-level business requirements for data warehouse.
Assess impacts to existing SIAs and associated programs from various Legacy Remediation and technology upgrade projects
Work with IT partners to coordinate changes and testing as needed as part of Legacy Remediation Projects and technology upgrade projects
Apply updates to the Business Requirements Document (BRD)
Collaborate with IT partners to assist with the creation of additional IT System requirements
Require technical experience with database including MS Access, DB2, and Oracle in order to perform business data analysis leveraging current data sources including databases, data and process models, business requirements and other artifacts.
Support coordination of program-level monitoring and reporting across multiple project teams within the program
Responsible for managing the development of program artifacts and records as needed to support overall project
Assist with pre-UAT , UAT Execution and Integrated UAT testing as needed.
Positive and Negative testing and interaction with external auditors – Regression testing

Analytical skills

Experience in the Mortgage industry, and operational processes and information needs are a plus
Familiarity with data management practices and data architecture is a plus
