Job Title: Scrum Master

Location: Miami, FL

Type of hire: Contract

Must Have Skills:

• Scrum Master Certification required.

• Must have familiarity with common and complex agile practices, service-oriented software development environments, and industry best practices

• Must provide the management and direction to a technical development team to include organizing and facilitating release and sprint planning sessions, daily stand-up meetings, sprint demos, retrospectives, story grooming sessions and any other Scrum-related meetings

Desired Skills:

• Understanding of the basic fundamentals of software development processes and procedures as well as knowledge of the development life cycle

• PMP certification and Rational Team Concert/RQM Experience are plus

• Exposure to Digital Customer Experience plus.

Project Details:

WMT (Work Management Tool): As an WMT Project Manager and Agile Scrum Master need to provide management and direction to a technical development team to build the stable product for BU.

Job Roles / Responsibilities:      

• Assist team members in Agile estimation techniques

• Coaching team members on Agile principles and providing general guidance on the methodology

• Organizing and facilitating project planning, daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos, and other Scrum-related meetings

• Tracking and communicating team velocity and sprint/release progress to all affected teams and management

• Facilitating discussion and conflict resolution in order to improve team productivity while promoting continuous improvement

• Updating Agile tracking systems to provide transparency on product and sprint backlogs

• Assisting team in making appropriate commitments through story selection and task definition

• Ensuring that the development teams are practicing the core Agile principles

• Working closely with assigned product owners in defining the vision and ensuring that the team is on the right track.
