Lead/Senior SQL DBA

Location :   Columbus OH (Locals Only)

Duration : Long Term

 

Required Skills:

·         Bachelor's degree in a technology related field or equivalent related job experience

·         8+ years experience performing database administration functions and supporting Microsoft SQL Server 2008/2012/2014 in a 24x7 production environment

·         Intermediate to advanced knowledge of SQL Server database instance and business process tuning

·         Ability to setup database failover, Clustering, Mirroring, Log Shipping and Replication

·         Intermediate experience of relational databases, backup and restore operations, DB logins/permissions, stored procedures, schema, triggers, database maintenance activity, etc

·         Intermediate knowledge of SQL script writing

·         Strong knowledge of Windows 2008 R2/2012 Server and desktop operating systems

·         Good working knowledge of Quest Spotlight is desirable

·         Strong interpersonal and communication skills and customer-support focused attitude

·         Works well in a team environment

·         Must be flexible and have the ability to perform multiple tasks
