Position:            SENIOR .NET APPLICATIONS ANALYST (15 + years' experience required)

Location:             bay area CA only Locals

Duration:             6 Months

 

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Looking for a Senior.Net Applications Analyst, who will be a capable technologist specifically seeking a dynamic environment where his/her potential will be maximized through the challenging projects .

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with Project Managers to develop effort and timeline estimates for application management. For example:

o Identify and deploy development tools for all phases of SDLC for applications development and support in a .NET environment:

o Identify and establish environments required for the application lifecycle: For example: Development, QA, Test, Pre Production, Production, etc.

o Identify and implement technical solutions required for HIPAA and SOX compliance

o Implement formalized standard SDLC and BRMS processes

o Document all existing applications and interfaces and create a knowledge base

o Identify monitoring needs for application availability and performance monitoring

• Understand existing applications and troubleshoot critical issues

• Identify standardization, optimization and performance improvement opportunities in existing applications and interfaces

• Provide application maintenance and support, work on enhancement requests and new projects

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Proven experience with Microsoft .NET technologies including, ASP.NET, ADO.NET

• Extensive experience in VB.Net, C#, SQL/T-SQL, JavaScript/DHTML, VBScript, HTML, XML

• Good experience in backend software design in SQL Server, Stored procedures and MySQL

• Experience developing websites using a Content Management System (CMS) is preferred

• Experience with Cache' database is preferred

• Experience in diagnostic laboratory applications such as Vantage, Instrument Manager, etc. is preferred

• Experience in Adobe GoLive, Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Dreamweaver is preferred

• Ability to complete all phases of software development life cycle including analysis, design, functionality, testing and support

• Ability to develop web/database applications that handle high volume transactions

• Ability to work on multiple projects with multiple deadlines

• Ability to communicate clearly with business users and project manager

• Ability to innovate and provide functional applications with intuitive interfaces

• Ability to create user guides and documentation and conduct training
