·         Expert-level knowledge of Linux-based operating systems (RHEL, Solaris, preferred)

·         Understand the working concepts of Oracle Databases, including RAC and ASM.

·         Cisco UCS hardware and software support. Understanding of UCS director and automated server deployment process.

·         AWS cloud platform support, design and standards. Experience with moving enterprise applications into a cloud environment.

·         Support servers and applications running in a cloud environment.

·         Understanding of LDAP or directory authentication, Centrify experience a plus.

·         Red Hat Satellite server experience

·         Configuration management in a Linux environment.

·         Experience in working with Enterprise Storage Arrays, understand Fiber Channel, & NFS.

·         Expert-level knowledge and relevant technical infrastructure areas (e.g. DNS, NIS, NFS, X11R6, CIFS, SSL, SMTP, HTTP/S, RPC, LDAP, SAN, NAS).

·         Mastery of systems analysis and design.

·         Expert-level knowledge of relevant network protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, UDP, NFS, NTP, OSI, VPN, NAT, TLA).

·         Ability to script in shell and/or Perl. Create and Read UNIX Shell Scripts, Cronjobs.

·         Solid understanding of internal customer business, goals and objectives, strategies, and needs.

·         Understanding of general control environments (e.g. PCI, FDA, SOX) Information Technology Operations experience (e.g. ITIL)

·         Ability to optimize and tune UNIX systems for specific processes.

·         Provide sufficient capacity for applications on UNIX systems.

Ensure compliance within existing frameworks; implement new compliance frameworks as necessary
