Position : Business Analyst with strong Mortgage
Location : Santa Ana, CA
Duration : Multi-year contract
Must have 5+ years of Mortgage Origination Technology experience and solid understanding of loan origination.
Must have 1.5 years or more of hands on Empower configuration experience.
For both requirements above, most recent experience must be no more than 2.5 years old
Good analysis skills and high degree of curiosity are critical.
Reviews, analyzes and understands application systems to provide businesses with the optimal solutions for the requirement at hand.
Develops the necessary documentation including, but not limited to: requirements, use cases, data mapping, process and data flows to assist the development and Quality Assurance with development and testing of business requirements.
Ensures completeness of documentation and that the documentation complies with company standards.
Researches, plans, and aides the recommendation of systems and software choices to satisfy the organization's business requirements.
Assists in the implementation of system modifications and expansions, new systems releases.
Assists in developing design considerations, cost analyses, and execution time-lines.
Conducts task analysis and interacts with system users in order to identify chances for the improvement of productivity, integration, and to optimize processes and decrease costs.
Prepares programming and system documentation for other programmers and users in compliance with external and internal standards.
Assists business units in the preparation of business process mapping and departmental procedures.
Someone who understands the origination process.
This person needs to ahve worked several years in configuration.
