Must have good comm. skills- easy to understand, as individual will be interacting with multiple individuals.
Department needs to develop an automation framework for testing the GUI.
Ideally client would like to leverage either an Open Source (preferred) or a commercially licensed tool to do the testing.
Needs to run on multiple OSes and test both graphical and functional components of the application.
Need to validate the application between April and June

Key experience needed:
2+ years of business application testing experience – emphasis on User Acceptance Testing and Data Validation Testing (making sure the inputs and outputs from the system are what the users/business teams expect)
Experience with ALM/Quality Center to document issues/bugs – a plus
Selected candidate will test a new GUI they are developing, which is a stand-alone application that uses C++ and the QTP library

Work with project team to understand project deliverables and impacts to applications, code base, and data feeds and extensions.
Assist project team in developing comprehensive test plan
Develop detailed and complete test cases based on the test plans

Client would love to do this in an automated fashion, but likely due to the initial short window, they will not have enough time to get all of the automation testing completed
Anything that cannot be tested in an automated process will need to be tested manually, which will provided an opportunity to understand what the client is wanting to automate
