Job Title: ETL Senior Developer – Data Stage and Infosphere consultant
Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: 6+ months

Job Summary:

We are looking for experienced IBM Data Stage (IBM Banking Data Warehouse) senior developer with strong Microsoft SQL Server 2012 and Information Analyzer & Governance Catalog knowledge (hands on) for EDW program and below are the criteria for the role.

REQUIREMENTS:

 8 plus years of experience in IBM Data Stage 11.x.

 IBM IIS Suite 11.x (version 8.0 and higher) experience with extensive knowledge using Data Stage, Quality Stage, Information Analyzer and Governance Catalog

 SQL Server database experience which includes creation of tables, stored procedures, triggers, cursor, views etc. Modifying the existing ones to accommodate the business logic. Scheduling jobs on Control M Scheduling agent.

 Responsible for developing and documenting the systems, processes and logic required exposing the existing data sets in the warehouse to end users for reporting and analysis purposes.

 Having hands on experience using Information Analyzer and Governance Catalog.

 Monitor ETL applications for performance and improvement opportunities.

 Ensure the quality, consistency and security of company data and data warehouse systems.

 Ability to switch easily between different projects and flexibility to handle a rapidly changing environment for large volumes of data.

Additional Job Description:

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

 Assists with system design reviews and software testing.

 Provides input on simple and non-complex projects.

 Provides training assistance on using Infosphere platform, draft training materials, instruction manuals, etc.

 Programming methodologies and ETL best practices and provide coaching to internal technical resources on best practices

 Troubleshooting issues when having the various tools "talk" to each other

 Information Governance Catalog

o Enabling viewing feature of Business Glossary Anywhere

o Importing defined business descriptions and terms from a table into Business

Glossary

o How to establish and then access Information Governance Catalog Dashboard

o Preparing data in order to generate data lineage reports

 Information Analyzer

o Leverage Domain Values Status and Reference Tables

o Collecting data quality errors or violating records in a separate table and have

ability to report on contents

o Ability to leverage Metadata Management features

o Involve in defining data profiling rules, data rule sets and data rule definitions;

and help create Data Quality Jobs

o Best practices and guidance on running Information Analyzer in scheduled,

batch mode

 Should have knowledge application support and deployment procedure.
