SharePoint Client Side Developer
Location: Mundelein, IL
Duration: at least 6 months
Interview process:Phone and FTF
The contractor will be integrally involved in the development and support of all internet, intranet, and extranet sites along with supporting systems. The Developer will be involved in every step of the software development lifecycle and provide occasional support for production systems.
Responsibilities:
· Work with user interaction design, function and backend development teams to realize user interface needs on various web applications.
· Develop web based user interfaces that target multiple browsers and devices using adaptive and responsive design patterns.
· Develop client side code using Sharepoint 2013 CSOM, JSOM programming.
· Document programming approach in technical specifications.
· Execute unit tests and provide unit test documentation
· Provide technical support for production.
· Review and analyze business requirements and provide technical feasibility and estimates.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience.
· Minimum of 4 years of IT work experience as a front end developer.
· Proficient in understanding of Sharepoint 2013, CSOM, JSOM programming.
· Solid understanding of Rest API.
· Strong programming skills in ASP.NET
· Expert in HTML, CSS3, object oriented Javascript, JQuery, and any client side frameworks is a plus.
· Proficient in AJAX, JSON, and other front end web development patterns.
· Hands on experience developing/modifying SharePoint master pages, views, forms, templates, external content types, custom lists, web parts and other custom components.
· Hands on with SharePoint branding, workflows, search, Managed Metadata..,etc.
· Hands on experience developing and managing applications with Visual Studio.
· Should have knowledge to manage source code in TFS
· Excellent collaboration skills.
· Excellent problem solving, design, coding and debugging skills.
