Job Title: Hyperion Technical with PSPB (Public Sector Planning and Budgeting)

Location: NY/NJ

Duration: 6+ Months

No of positions: 2

Must be 9-10 years

Opening:Hyperion Planning Lead / Consultant

Below is the short description of Tasks that is needed from the Resource:

1. Strong Oracle Hyperion Public Sector Planning and Budgeting (PSPB) knowledge

2. Experience in Hyperion Planning atleast 6 Years

3. Minimum Experience in PSPB 2+ years or atleast 2 PSPB Projects end to end

4. Worked on Position Planning using PSPB

5. Worked on Decision Package and Budget Requests in PSPB

6. Customized Business Rules / Smart Lists etc. in PSPB to cater to the client Logic 

Qualification and Experience 

Basic Qualification Post Graduate / Graduate in Finance or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Preferred Industry   IT Implementation &Consulting company 

Experience  - 7+ years hands of experience in migrating and implementing Hyperion Solutions (HFM/Planning/Essbase/ODI). 

- Hyperion Planning &Essbaseexperience is a must.

- Minimum of 1 implementation of PSPB – Public Sector Planning& Budgeting 

- Prior experience and working in UN environment, with knowledge on IPSAS would be an added advantage

Age Between 35-50 Years

Role

• Implement Hyperion Planning solution, including facilitation of integration using ODI

• Core point of contact for planning and budgeting solution requirements

• Liaison withcustomer, TW application analyst and off-shore development team

• Manage all requests from start to finish (gather business requirements, analyze data, provide solution, build, test and implement reports); 

• Coordinating across multiple teams and ensuring on-time delivery

Desired profile

Responsibilities:

• Understanding business process and user requirements - Interviewing subject matter experts and relating needs on planning / budgeting and reporting

• Designing, developing and validation of planning and reporting application model

• Hyperion Planning – Ability to Design Forms, Build Calculation Scripts, Task Lists, Set up workflows etc.

• Hyperion Essbase – Design & Build ASO / BSO cubes. Experience in writing calculation scripts

• Hyperion Reporting – Design &Build Reports in Hyperion Financial Reporting

• Facilitate implementation of integration process using ODI 

• Preparation of required project documentation – requirement document, functional specifications, test cases etc.

• Hand-holding business users as part of UAT and Go-Live

• Organizing complex information into understandable subject areas 

• Writing clear and concise documentation for business and IT - "Translating" business language into technical language and vice versa 

• Coordinating across multiple teams and ensuring on-time delivery
