Role: Middleware Engineer – Lead

Location: West Des Moines, IA

Duration: Long Term

 Experience:

·         Total 12  years of experience; minimum 10 years' experience in the relevant technologies

 Responsibilities:

·         Responsible for defining, maintaining, implementing and optimizing the architecture and processes of the Middleware product and platforms required for Migrations, Upgrades, to meet business goals and objectives.

·         Support teamwork through effective leadership and Capable of taking strategic decisions

·         Incorporate stakeholder requirements into solutions and solutions architecture

·         Relationship establishment with key stakeholders and representation at relevant forums (Specialist on the Middleware technology stack end to end)

·         Document and propose viable new solutions architecture frameworks.

·         Problem solving and in-depth root cause analysis; Effective resolution of tier 3 problems.

·         Define, maintain, configure and support infrastructure and systems.

·         Deliver required reporting, trend analysis and effective communication.

·         Perform continuity administration and maintenance.

·         Identify financial and business risks to the company and escalate accordingly.

·         Lead Data Center Migrations for Middleware servers with weblogic/WebSphere/MB/MQ;

·         Install/Create configurations of Middleware Applns Servers & Webservers along with MB/MQ;

·         Handled new installs/upgrade projects for Middleware servers (at least one technology )

·         Configure/Assist Security configurations.

·         Troubleshoot to resolve system related problems in coordination with relevant System Administrators

·         Monitors designated applications and takes corrective action to prevent or minimize system down time

·         Assists with developing policies, procedures, programs, scripts, or web pages as required; Create user documents and train personnel on new applications

·         Provides remote support to users having difficulties with application

·         Security Management with SSL; Basic Exp with SSO/ SSL implementations.

·         Should be familiar with support process

Skills:

·         Oracle Weblogic

·         Oracle HTTP Server

·         MQ/MB

·         IBM WebSphere Application Server administration

·         IBM/Oracle HTTP Server Administration
