Role: SAP SCM Technical Lead

Location: Austin, TX

Duration: Long term

 Job description:

This role is for a person with good process knowledge and experience in SAP (hands ons & systems) of manufacturing and engineering space. Experience in areas of manufacturing process, Item/Master data for manufacturing, BOM, ECO/ECN, revisions. Integration experience with any PLM system. Adhere to documentation required to support the IT organization process (Functional spec, test execution and documentation and defect management).

Self-starter, little management required, driven, ability to work well in a team environment extensively both upwards and downwards in the organization is essential.

 

Travel required while on project. Approx. 25% to 40% depending on the phase of the project.

 

Required Skills/Experience:

·         Deep functional knowledge

·         Cross functional knowledge

·         Design analysis and good understanding of business process mapping

·         Strong project and driving decisions in cross functional environment

·         Any Experience in Engg tool sets  Teamcenter or Agile is a plus

 

Experience: 5- 7 Years of hands on experience in the relevant functional area
