Job Title: Sr. Business Analyst with Jira Experience

Location: NYC, NY (Local Only)

Duration: 6+ months

Need local to NYC.

Must be 10 years

 

The Risk Management group is looking for a Consultant who is a Business Analyst with ability to project manage, working with the head of the group on various projects utilizing JIRA and Excel for full software development lifecycle and enhancements to their systems.  The client is looking for a candidate who is highly organized, with attention to details and is an excellent communicator with strong interfacing skills at various levels of management.

 

THE DAY TO DAY:

• Regularly interface with business leaders and other application development teams
• Eliciting requirements and score using interviews, shadowing, document review, surveys and other techniques
• Highly skilled at quickly breaking down and understanding ambiguous requirements
• Highly skilled at identifying gaps and dependencies with requirements
• Document vision and scope, managing requirement changes throughout the project
• Understanding high-level architecture and discussing rationale for potential changes

 

THE SKILLS YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB:

• 7+ years as a Business Analyst in a fast-paced environment
• Solid JIRA experience 
• Experience working with MS Excel.
• Scripting experience with UNIX Shell, Perl, SQL etc.
• Ability to work across various teams in a project management capacity to ensure
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Strong organizer, have worked with dashboards, detailed oriented.
• Testing – including validation and documentation and coordination
• Ability to work across different development and business teams in the group and interface with business leaders and other development team members
• Highly polished and professional communication (verbal/ presentation/ written).
• Market Risk is a plus.
• Release Management is desired.
