Job Title: Oracle DBA

Location: San Jose, CA

Duration: 12 Months

 

Duties: 
Administer, backup, clone Oracle Databases (11g, 12c on Linux) 
Administer, backup, clone Oracle R12 non production environments 
Analyze patches released by Oracle and other vendors and test them before making ready for production
Debug performance issues 
Work with project scrum teams to understand new features going to production and advise production DBAs on growth and performance issues 
Work with scrum teams to provide full Apps DBA support including deploying custom codes 
Create, update and Document Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) docs for Production DBAs for new features released to production 

Required Skills/Experience: 
10 years + IT experience 
7 years + as Oracle Apps DBA with experience on Oracle R12 
Should have good knowledge of working in Linux OS, Oracle RAC, RMAN backups and Oracle Enterprise Manager 
Expertise with PL/SQL , Weblogic, SOA suite and other RDBMS (MSSQL, MySQL) desired 
Must be a process -oriented individual 
Must be open to work on off hours & weekends when required

oid/oam and sabrix/vertex integration and negotiate rate(Mandatory)
