Job Description:
You will be part of the service delivery team based out of Dallas to build cutting edge products and solution that will bring disruption to the consumer lending industry. You will be charged with designing and developing new and enhancing existing products and solutions. Evaluate functional requirements and produce high-level design deliverables that enable the organization to develop applications that are robust, flexible, scalable, secure, and that support the strategic initiatives of the enterprise. Analyze, document and promote standards and patterns that represent the established architectural goals. Responsible for researching, demonstrating and providing guidance on emerging technologies and industry trends. Work directly with a Product Owner to develop feature roadmaps and groom product backlogs for assigned applications.
Your tasks and responsibilities
• Designs / codes core application frameworks for complex project that can be reused across the organization.
• Defines and enforces project development standards and best practices that are consistent with enterprise architecture standards, corporate standards and goals.
• Will be responsible for undertaking complex projects requiring additional specialized technical knowledge in software development and provides expertise at top technical levels business processes.
• Defines development tasks, assigns tasks to development team, and monitors and reports status of development tasks
• Coordinates with users and / or business analysts to understand requirements.
• Leads and participates in the development of software architecture documentation.
• Mentors and trains less-experienced software development staff.
Required:
• 10+ years of experience with Java/J2EE
• Architecture & Design aspects of solutions (including Design Patterns)
• Data structures and computing fundamentals
• Strong Object oriented programming
• Strong J2EE with hands on experience on latest JDKs
• Strong Spring & Hibernate
• Strong DB concepts & design
• Strong JavaScript (client & server side)
• Strong AngularJS or some other JavaScript framework
Preferable:
• Implemented on CI/ CD in some form in few of their projects
• Cloud experience/ knowledge is good to have
• Preformed technical reviews (including code review) and can mentor people on the job
• Worked in agile mode of project execution
• Ability to work with distributed teams
• Good communication (oral & written skills)
• Must be able to travel 20% to client sites to help with implementations
