Location: Madison, WI
Duration: 12+ months.
#1 - Local -- Java 8+ years
#2 - Non-local willing to travel/relocation -- Java 11+years. Preference given to candidates with State Government experience.
SKILLS - CORE:
· Java development with Eclipse
· Java Script Experience
· Java Script Library Experience
· Experience using Java Spring Framework
· Ability to work independently utilizing critical thinking and discretionary decision-making skill sets
· Developing production web applications in a team environment
· Source/Build Tools -- Maven
· SOAP
· Using unit testing frameworks, preferably JUnit
· Javascript
· JSP (Java Server Pages)
· Domain -- State Government
· Object-oriented design and functional programming
· XML
· Problem solving and complexity analysis
· Experience with use and implementation of application middleware such as Tomcat
· Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and common practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operational
· Experience with distributed computing and enterprise-wide systems
