Position: z/OS Storage Specialist/Admin
MODE OF INTERVIEW -- 1 Phone Interview and Offer
Type: 12 month+ contract
Location: FULLY REMOTE
z/OS Storage Specialist.
The qualified candiate must have 6+ years of experience, be familiar with the latest versions of z/OS, and be a storage expert
Requirements:
-5 to 7 years of relevant experience required
-Familiarity with the current release, or the past two releases of z/OS as far as an operating system goes
-Expertise in storage
-Has to know all IBM storage products & requires experience in utilities
-Knowledge of z/OS internals, SMP/E, IPCS, JES2, TSO/E, ISPF/PDF, JCL, LE, IDCAMS, DADSM, VSAM, SMS, and z/OS system software as well as other vendor software is required as well as the ability to debug system software problems by analyzing system dumps in both hardcopy and IPCS format.
-Knowledge of coupling facility structures, CF policies, ICF, memory requirements, data sharing and hardware configurations for coupled environments preferred.
-GDPS, XRC, PPRC and SAZOS (AOC) experience preferred.
