Responsibilities

Work with New Residential (NRZ) front-office to understand their portfolio management needs for both day-to-day & strategic portfolio management decision making purposes

Work with internal and external IT partners to ensure data feeds are accurate and delivered in a timely manner

Provision and support of highly available systems in the production, QA, and development environments

Resolution of any problems in these systems in a timely and professional manner

Work with the software architects and engineers to specify details for adding new functionality to the existing technology suite

Work closely with the trading, risk and modeling teams to develop and support tools for mortgage data downloads, analysis and reporting

Work within a small team to design, implement and maintain all aspects of loan data management

 

Skills & Requirements

Bachelor's degree required, preferred in Information Systems, Computer Science, or other technical background

Strong SQL experience

Fixed income market knowledge a plus

Prior experience working with cloud based data analysis frameworks a plus

  We are seeking a Business Data Analyst who can combine strong analytic capabilities, database querying skills, and communication skills to help in shaping and expanding our reporting, and analytical capabilities. Experience with fixed income/mortgage data/loans would be a plus. Please note that this position will be more technical than a standard Business Analysis role and would be ideal to applicants who wish to expand on their experience analyzing and support Business Intelligence (BI) systems for financial institutions.

•Experience with Istio, Kubernetes, Docker, and related technologies

•Experience implementing industry standard security best practices

•Excellent communication, presentation and documentation skills.
