Expected Technical & Functional Skills
• Proven experience as a Microsoft .NET Application Developer
• Familiarity with VB and .NET framework, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns
• Knowledge of C# programing language
• Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)
• Good understanding of ITIL v3 guidelines will be preferable.
• Understanding of Agriculture & Food Processing Business Value Chain relating to multiple crops like Corn, Soybean, Wheat, Oil Seeds.
• Knowledge of various design/Build Software Development methodologies, such as: Agile "Behavior Driven Development", agile "Test Driven Development", waterfall, Kanban, lean, extreme programming Excellent verbal / written communication skills
• Good Microsoft Office skills Word, Power Point , Excel & Visio

Roles & Responsibilities
• Code Impact Analysis, identifies dependencies and documents implications of any proposed changes to various application systems within application landscape.
• System Technical & Functional Design of the application
• Code Development , Peer Code Review and Unit Testing
• Contribute to test plan creation, testing, debugging and installation support of the application
• Participates in Configuration and Release Management activities
• Participates in Application maintenance and support services including error correction, preventive maintenance, enhancements, and On Demand/Ad Hoc work requests.
• Perform modifications within or across national boundaries to maintain compliance with local, regional, national, and international regulatory changes applicable to Client's Business
• Support 24x7 Production control and scheduling requirements including back-out recovery, job balancing, and production output monitoring for completion and correctness, and monitor exception logs
• Develops documentation throughout the software development and support life cycle (SDLC)
• Customer focus - Attention to detail, seeks to help and co-operate with customers in order to develop productive, professional relationships with Customers (internal/external).
• Problem solving and Decision Making - Resolve unusual or highly complex problems, with the involvement of others as required. Able to identify solutions and explore alternatives outside familiar approaches

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree/4-year Degree in Computer or Allied fields

Description:
Must have skills
· Proven experience as a Mainframe Application Developer
· Mainframe Developer with 8+ years of experience reading and writing code in COBOL.
· Strong Mainframe programming skills including JCL, DB2, IMS DB/DC, SQL, MFS, ISPF, and Xpediter.
Good to have skills
· Good understanding of ITIL v3 guidelines will be preferable
· Excellent Written and Communication Skills
· Excellent Team Management skills
· Ability to work in multi geography multi-cultural team
Key responsibilities
· Take transition from customer on existing system functionality
· Prepare system document of understand for applications
· Document user scenario and test cases for system testing
· Debug production issues and provide solution to resolve the issues including root cause analysis, code changes, data fix and/or data fix
· Work with business users to gather requirements for enhancements request, do analysis and provide estimation for required changes.
· Work code changes required for bug fixes and enhancement work
· Perform application testing before migration of changes to UAT followed by production
· Provide user support during UAT
· Provide warranty support for changes migration in production
· Follow ITIL process and user ticketing tool as per local implementation
· Coordinate with global teams based out of Indian and Europe for both production issues and enhancement work.
