Need-----Cloud Engineer Lead @ Allentown, PA / Long Term Contract

Position: Lead Cloud Engineer

Duration: 12 Months

Location: Allentown, PA

Visa: No OPT CPT

 

Responsibilities:

· Migration execution using platform migrations options – VM Images

· Migration execution using different Tools- Azure Site Recovery (ASR)

· Agent uninstallation and installation during migration window

· Perform all migration technical steps as mentioned in Run Book

· Perform pre & post migration sanity checks(Infra level Testing)

· Technical assistance for application team

· Troubleshooting on Azure VMs, vNET, Resources Groups, storage, NSG etc.

· Deployment in Azure and windows, assign access right to resources.

· Deploy database script (for creation and updates)

 

Job Description:

Standard Support Services

· Support Windows Environment on Azure

· Service Request Management

· Monitoring and Notification - Periodic As per Request

· Azure Support Services Landscape

· Azure Service Management includes operational change requests

· Collaboration with Microsoft Support

· Enable alerts for VM instances (Default and Custom metrics)

· Troubleshoot VM for operating system related issues

· Manage the VM instance types (Reservation/ PAAG)

· Identify and resolve issues pertaining to backend OS/system errors

 

Patch Management

· Operating System Patching and related dependencies

 

Backup and Restoration

· Configure Backup Management

· Native tool based 3rd Party tools – Post Know how

 

Cloud Account Management

· Subscription Management

· User Management and Access Management

· Policy Management

 

Cloud Storage Management

· Blob Storage – Create, Configure, Archiving, Hot & Cold

· Disk Management

· Vault based Configuration and Management

 

Cloud Network Management

· NSG / NACL Configuration and Management

· Security Groups Configuration and Management

· Resource Groups Configuration and Management

· Add/Remove routes, Load Balancer Management

 

Cloud Security Management

· Security practices

· Antivirus

· Access control

· Security Certificates - SSL Management

 

Cloud File Access and Sharing

· Managing file system access and tags (based upon requests)
