JJT-BT is seeking a strong Business Analyst (BA) to support our JJT-BT Make team,
who will combine IT expertise with knowledge of Automation systems and cloud computing to build on our existing Historian product line, which is used cross-sector and at more than 40 manufacturing sites in alignment with IT regional/global strategy, standards, and processes.
In this role, you will be responsible for Historian enterprise business demands and will support the Product Owner (PO) of Historians to deliver data historian capabilities across the globe.
This is a contractor position in Johnson & Johnson- Business Technology – Make product line, and has responsibilities to support the 3 sectors, reporting into the PO of Historians.
Purpose & Responsibilities:
The BA for Historians is responsible for delivery of the Historian product line and driving increased leverage of the standard products across all regions and sectors. The resource will need to understand the concept of data historians related to manufacturing.
Strategic Mindset: The BA will work closely with regional and global business owners and will help define a clear vision for the Historian product line. Main product is OSIsoft PI.
The role will be responsible for contributing to the multi-generation product strategy and roadmap that maximizes ROI by identifying and prioritizing the product features by business value.
Internal Partnerships: Manage business partners’ expectations to support solutions that may not be ideal for a site or function but are optimal for J&J.
Partner with key business stakeholders and BTLs in identifying the business’s priorities and product needs, negotiate with business to determine IT capacity with top business priorities.
Experience working across multiple levels of the organization, being able to influence decisions related to Historian product choice & implementation.
Will be responsible for test, release, change management for the platform solution. Collaborate with IT support groups (PMO, TS, etc.) for Build & Run activities.
Product Management: The BA will support Historian Platform /products to be deployed in all regions/sectors, work with the vendors to drive issue backlogs, fixes and evaluate potential SaaS solutions.
Identifies and drives repeatability of solution for the Historian platform working with Domain and Enterprise architects.
Drives standardization and consistency of Historian platform & solutions deployed globally that can meet business objectives and service levels.
Integration: The BA will support any integrations that will support business needs.
