Job Description:
Key Competencies:
• BA/BS degree required (business, engineering, information technology, computer software or equivalent major preferred)
• 5+ years in a project management role leading small- to medium-scale IT solution implementations
• 3+ years managing a team, group or department deploying or maintaining MDM, data warehouse or BI systems, preferably in a life sciences environment support marketing, sales or compliance
• Proven experience with traditional SDLC (waterfall, stage-gate) and iterative (RUP, Agile, Scrum) implementation methodologies
• 2+ years or data analysis and SQL development using an enterprise RDMBS such as Oracle SQL
• Proven experience facilitating requirements gathering and testing review sessions
• Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as effective presentation skills
• Experience working in an onshore – offshore model with teams from different time zones and cultures
• Ability to handle moderately complex projects involving integration with several systems
• Demonstrated experience working with cross functional teams on complex projects
• Effective organizational, influencing, analytical, planning, interpersonal, & team development skills
Key Methodologies and Toolsets:
• Strong competency with traditional SDLC and Agile frameworks for project management
• Strong competency with project management and system development standards such as PMBOK, PRINCE2 or Scrum
• Solid understanding of the full MDM development lifecycle and MDM best practices
• Strong knowledge of customer master, MDM or related systems such as HMS CompleteView, Oracle/Siebel UCM, SAP MDM, Informatica/Siperian, Talend or Trillium
• Data analysis/SQL skills with exposure to one of the following: Oracle SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Sybase SQL Server, MySQL or IBM DB2
• Advanced abilities with MS Project and Atlassian GreenHopper for project management
• MS Office Suite, strong emphasis on MS Visio (wireframes and workflows), and ability to self-learn new applications and tools
• Moderate competency with Java-based and open source technologies such as Linux shell scripting (e.g. Perl, BASH, Python, GNU Makefiles)
• Familiarity with desktop and server operating systems such as Windows, Linux and Unix
