Job Title:  Jr. Java Developer
Location: Bloomington, MN
Duration:  6-12 Month 
Rate: $35/HR C2C
 
!! Must be Local to MN or  near by  !!
 
JOB Description:
2-4 years of experience with a variety of Java languages (Java, C#, C ) and tools
Proven track record in building and supporting complex applications.
Ability to write services, applications, and User Interfaces in Java.
Familiar with JAI and working with Digital Images.
Ability to read/interpret and code in C . (Only one of the two positions requires this)

 

Optional Requirements
Experience with manufacturing systems a plus.
Experience with web applications, rendering engines, and print-processing tools a plus.
Experience with Jira and Subversion helpful.
Experience working with photography, digital images, creative companies etc.

Job Title: SAN Engineer
Location: Minneapolis (MN)

JOB Description:
Lead EMC support for a SAN environment that includes both EMC storage. 
Lead installation of new storage, allocate storage consistent with PTS storage service process, monitor and manage performance of storage resources. 
Develop processes and procedure to keep current with firmware versions and patch management 
Provide storage reporting to include allocation, utilization, performance, problem/incident, and root cause analysis 
Provide on-call coverage in rotation with lead PTS storage engineer 
Cross train and effect knowledge transfer to ensure high customer support levels on EMC storage without regard to which engineer is on-call 
Maintain storage hardware and associated software at top levels of performance by monitoring version upgrades and maintenance releases to ensure that Pearson environment is optimally configured 
Bring a "can-do" attitude to work everyday 
Work efficiently when faced with ambiguity

 

Job Requirements
Minimum 3+ years primary assignment administering EMC Symmetrix/Clarion 
Minimum 3+ years SAN management

 

Optional Requirements
Experience with EMC management tools (i.e., ECC, Storage Scope, Navisphere, StorageWorks, Workload Analyzer, Performance Analyzer, ProSphere, etc) 
Experience with Brocade switches in SAN fabric (DCX, 48000, 4100 ) 
Experience with EMC Symmetrix VNX, VMAX and Clariion Cx380, Cx4960 
Exposure to Cisco MDS 9500 series SAN Switches 
Exposure to HP StorageWorks EVA 5000 and HSG80 
Exposure to EMC Celerra, NetApp HA6030
