Required Experience
Knowledge and hands-on mapping and configuration of Sterling B2B Integrator 5.x. Knowledge of Sterling Control Center, Sterling File Gateway, Sterling Secure Proxy, Connect Direct.
Strong Map development skills to work on mapping requirements using ANSI X12, EDIFACT and/or Traduces EDI Standards.
Strong BP development skills to build complex business processes
Has to perform a role or Solution designer in EDI B2B area. Understanding of all general EDI concepts and messaging standards and be able to setup B2B Communications on Alcon's Sterling B2B Integrator platform such as VAN, AS2, FTP, SFTP.
Should have good communication skill, ability to handle the EDI solution discussions with business.
Must have the ability to translate above standards to SAP iDoc structure. Must be able to setup AS2, SFTP, FTP communications using Sterling B2B Integrator.

NET Developer with MVVM Experience - CO..

NET Developer with MVVM Experience

Location:  Pueblo, CO

Duration:  1 year

Primary Duties:

The incumbent will be responsible for software application design and programming using C# (C-Sharp) in the .NET development environment, writing applications for Windows GUIs, or ASP.NET web applications.  Team leadership may be required.

 

The incumbent is responsible for programming tasks related to the development of computer software using modern object oriented programming techniques.  He/she provides technical support and professional software development services to other departments, as assigned by the Resource Manager. The Programmer / Developer III will be responsible for developing software components based on formal system and software design documents, as well as conducting appropriate testing, using current testing tools such as nUnit.  The Programmer/Developer III will mentor other members of the team with regards to the possible approaches, benefits and drawbacks of various Test Driven Development (TDD) approaches and tools.  The Programmer / Developer III will work as part of a team, and/or potentially lead one or more teams, but must also possess the skills and drive to work somewhat independently to solve complex engineering problems.  

 

Minimum Qualifications:

The position requires a Bachelor's Degree with five or more years of experience and a proven record in the field of software development and/or engineering.  Five or more years of recent experience using C# (C-Sharp) in the .NET development environment. The incumbent's primary experience should be in writing applications for Windows GUIs using WPF, WCF and other .NET frameworks.  Experience with SQL Server and uses of Entity Framework are desired.  The incumbent must have excellent verbal and written communication along with demonstrable analytical skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

A degree in a computer related discipline such as Computer Science, Software Engineering or Systems Engineering, or another technical degree with a strong software development component and more than 7 years of very recent experience using C# (C-Sharp) in the .NET development environment. Experience with Entity Framework Code First Implementations is preferred.  Some experience with C/C++, Fortran and other DBMS providers (Oracle) is beneficial.  Proven proficiency in testing methods, data collection and data analysis techniques, and reporting is preferred.  Experience with nHibernate, JavaScript, JQuery and implementing patterns such as MVC, MVVM, Singleton, Factory and Façade is beneficial.   Experience in working in an agile development team would also be preferred.  Experience in preparation and delivery of technical presentations to scientific groups would also be beneficial to the incumbent.
