Position: POS Tester

Location: Washington

Duration: 6 Months (Extandable)

Job Description

• Experience in Point Of Sale (POS) – Hands-On experience in POS application, ringing and validation of different transaction types, payment processing/tendering, POS peripheral integration and interfaces with Ecommerce, CRM,RMS and downstream systems required

• Database knowledge in RDBMS and SQL

• Experience in Software Testing Life Cycle

• Automation skills (Selenium, QTP/UFT) will be an add on

• At least 3 years of experience in STLC.

• Have Database knowledge in RDBMS, SQLand Stored Procedures etc.

• Knowledge of Test Automation frameworks and principles

• Experience inRetail Website testing

• Good knowledge in Retail domain

Job Responsibilities:
Design and develop code for Oracle account administration.
Provide standardization and consistency across environments.
Ensure a stable and secure database environment.
Apply database management consulting skills and gather requirements.
Uphold enterprise policy guidelines.

Qualifications:
At least five years of experience working with Oracle databases (strong preference working with a project team). Oracle 9i, 10g, 11g and 12c on Linux, AIX and Solaris.
Experience with scripting (Unix shell, SQLplus, PL/SQL).
Experience with code development and Oracle database design (with emphasis on account administration and privileges).
Knowledge of the UNIX/Linux Server platform.
Four-year degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
Effective verbal communication skills and documentation skills in both business and technical areas.
Strong organizational skills to handle changing priorities, tight schedules, and correction of critical systems outside of normal working hours.

Desired Qualifications:
Experience with a systems development or project methodology.
Experience working with remote teams.
Experience working with Oracle RAC.
Knowledge of Sybase account administration.
