Embedded Developer

(Fort Wayne, IN)

 4-6 months

 

REQUIRED: 

 - Three or more years of Embedded Software development with C  

 - Two or more years' experience developing software for vehicle bus interfaces/protocols (CAN, J1939, LIN, J1587, J1850, etc.) 

 - Insight into Object Oriented principles and development. This could come from one of the following three things:   

          - The best option is for a candidate to have OO experience with embedded C 

          - The second best option is for a candidate to have OO experience from embedded C++ development for real-time targets

          - The third best option would be a candidate with strong embedded C, who has completed OO work for desktop applications

 

DESIRED:

 - Metrowerks Codewarrior is STRONGLY DESIRED and almost required. Candidates meeting all other criteria, but who have development experience in another embedded integrated environment (IDE) comparable to Codewarrior may substitute. 

 - Experience with Freescale HCS12 and MPC5668 is a HUGE PLUS, but related processor experience will substitute.

 - Eclipse (development environment)

 - Candidates with degrees in software engineering, computer engineering, or electrical engineering strongly preferred.
