Strong data modeling and SQL/PLSQL experience along with Oracle BI and report writing experience is required.
They require someone with strong, hands on SQL / PSQL experience.
Minimum Requirements: Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience
• Strong experience in OBIEE (Siebel Analytics) 10/11g including creating and maintaining:
* Reports using drill down by hierarchy, charts, report navigation
* RPD's
* Subject area
* iBOTS,
* Publisher
• Strong experience in Relational and Dimensional data modeling
• Strong experience in programming with Oracle 10/11 g PL SQL, SQL, Procedures, functions, Analytical functions
• Strong experience in Performance tuning for BI Queries
• Strong experience with ETL processes to load and maintain the rational and dimensional models.
• Knowledge of the OBIEE infrastructure
• Unix scripting
• Familiarity with distributed technologies such as HTTP, Web servers, JSP, EJB and XML.
• 2+ years of Report writing experience with Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE)
• Experience with OBIEE Answers and BI Publisher
• Experience with OBIEE RPD modeling and administration
• Ability to interact with business users and prepare functional specifications
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Must be self motivated and willing to learn

• Languages: PL/SQL, SQL, and Java
• Tools: ERwin Data modeler, SQL Developer,
• Environment: OBIEE
• Operating System: Linux,

Primary responsibilities are the analysis, design, development and testing of reports using Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE). This is a hands-on role and includes creating data models and the processes required to populate and maintain them and building the reports using these or existing data models.
Responsibilities:
• Design and implement RPDs (OBIEE metadata), Subject Areas, BI hierarchies and Reports in OBIEE based on the requirements.
• Administer OBIEE Server
• Design and implement Relational and Dimensional data models as necessary for the implementation of reports
• Design and implement ETL processes using Oracle ODI, PL SQL, SQL, procedures, and analytical functions to load and maintain the data models necessary for the reports
• Test for data consistency and report accuracy
