Job Title :Java XSLT Developer.
Location :Milwaukee, WI.
Duration :6+ Months Contract.

Note from Manager: "For my consultant needs, I can work with someone who has had 3 – 5 years of Java and if they happen to be XSLT experts, that would offset the extent of Java knowledge I'm looking for."

Responsibilities:
• Develop quality system enhancements which accelerate the ability to integrate multiple systems to multiple end-points
• Interact with functional and technical team members to define requirements and match technology solution to the business need
• Create technical designs, develop code and execute unit test cases
• Research industry standards and design patterns
• Lead, guide, and advise other teams on best integration practices
• Integrate leading edge FIS products with multiple systems and vendors
• Participate in component and data architecture designs
• Perform performance and capacity testing,
• Write technical specifications, white papers, position papers, technology standards and guidelines
• Suggest technical alternatives and improve/streamline processes and systems
• Conduct product evaluation and make buy vs. build recommendations
Requirements
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related discipline or equivalent combination of education and related experience
• Minimum of 5 years experience in JAVA, J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, jQuery, AJAX, UNIX, MQ Series, UML, HTML, CSS, XML, XSL, SOAP, REST, POX
• Working experience with IBM WebSphere, JBOSS, Tomcat or similar JAVA application server
• Working Eclipse experience
• Working Oracle Database experience
• Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles (e.g. waterfall, iterative, or other modern approaches to software development)
• Solid analytical and problem resolution skills
• Solid understanding of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Web Oriented Architecture (WOA)
• Solid understanding of Object Oriented Design
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization (e.g., executive, management, individual contributors)
• Is resourceful and proactive in gathering information and sharing ideas
• Must have a strong ability to work independently with minimal guidance, multi-task when necessary, and effectively manage priorities and time.
