Title Core Java Developer  Job Description The successful candidate will be involved in the full development life cycle i.e. analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment and support of all Line of Business e-trading pieces of software. The candidate should have at least 5 years of core Java development experience and will also have worked in the electronic trading arena.   Years of Experience 7+ yrs   Desired Skills *Business/technical analysis experience in a financial environment. *Strong interpersonal and communication skills. *Strong organizational ability, time and project management skills to juggle many priorities *Fixed Income business general knowledge (what are the different instruments, what are they used for, how they are traded etc*) desirable. *Specific e-commerce exposure would be desirable (knowledge of markets, vendor solution such as ION/Market View *) *Highly motivated is essential in this area.   Necessary Technology or Application Experience *Development: JAVA experience, SQL, UNIX, Message queuing, XML, Hibernate, Spring, *Market Connectivity Location NYC Duration 6+ Months Rate DOE Interview Type Initial Telephonic  / 2nd round May be a face to face Notes We need only developers with hands on experience, client will request for references and proof of employment in USA.
