Oracle PL/SQL Developer ; Rate : $40/hr

Hi All

Location : Washington DC

Duration : 6+months

Uses backup and recovery procedures administer database security and configure database storage

devices. Monitor database and database application performance. Perform database performance

tuning. Troubleshoot database related problems. Provide technical guidance to less experienced

developers.

Skilled in designing and implementing relational databases using Oracle to support complex database

systems and applications:

? Experience developing database applications to perform data editing using Oracle SQL and

PL/SQL in UNIX environment.

? Skilled in defining logical and physical structure and functional capabilities of large scale

databases.

? Strong analytical skills and experienced with interpreting complex user requirements.

? Experience in multiple test and production environments

? Experience in the database configuration and optimization including performance

measurement and tuning.

? Experience in the use of tools for data modeling and logical and physical database design.

Desirable, but not required:

? Knowledge and experience with using RUP.

? Effective communication skills (Strong writing skills).
