OBIEE Developer
Location: NYC (F2F a must have)
Duration: 6 Months

 
Required Skills/Experience  (Skills that the successful candidate(s) must have)
• Understanding of Business Analysis for dimensional data models
• Working Experience with OBIEE 10g/11g (required
• Understanding of Oracle E-Business Suite/Hyperion source system data models
• Knowledge of Oracle Database Performance Tuning
• Knowledge of Oracle Business Intelligence Applications
• Years of Experience: 3 - 5 years
Assignment
Work on a team that is implementing Oracle Business Intelligence Applications for E-Business Suite using the Oracle OBIEE+. This role entails the following:
• Design & Develop the Logical Data Model (Business Model)
• Design & Develop OBIEE metadata and reports including logical columns, alias, hierarchies, and subject areas
• Translate business analyst requirements into analytics metadata
• Work with the Data Architect and ETL Developer to:
• Design & Develop OBIEE Physical Data Model
• Determine whether calculations and processing should be done in OBIEE or the ETL process
• Determine requirements for aggregate tables, hierarchies, level based measures, etc.
• Move data into the data warehouse for report unit testing
