Title Cognos developer  Job Description Relevant Experience (Yrs): 3-4 years experience in developing Cognos Reports Necessary Skills: Expert in Cognos reporting tool Need to have excellent communication skills (including English conversation skills), demonstrate excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills. Should have knowledge of financial data analysis Desired Skills: Expertise in Cognos 8 BI tools, especially Report Studio, Framework Manager Report deployment process Strong SQL skills Event Studio knowledge Able to come with best practices for report development. Able to write Report specifications, track changes Roles & Responsibilities: Understand the requirements and ability to develop reports Replacing the reporting framework from MS Access to Cognos reporting Generic Managerial Skills: Able to plan/track tasks/activities Report progress/challenges to Project Manager Education: Graduate Primary Skills   Location Los Angeles, CA Duration Longterm Rate $40/hr Interview Type Initial Telephonic  / 2nd round May be a face to face Notes We need only developers with hands on experience, client will request for references and proof of employment in USA.
