Duration:  Through the end of the year

Location(s):  Charlotte, NC   & St. Louis – 1 position in each location

Position:  Network Engineer

Notes from Manager: Preferred Skills:  Enterprise Network Analysis/Design experience managing performance and capacity of links, circuits, and optimizing host communications, 

Desired Tool Skills:  Experience using Opnet. Netscout, NetQos, Infovista (this is not a tool administrator role)

 

May perform:


·         Bulk Transfer/Replication Assessments-(Reviews implications to data backup, replication, and recurring bulk transfers to determine performance implications with the event).

·         Sizing/Capacity Assessments- (Provides link or circuit capacity & sizing recommendations; provides move/add/change impact assessments attributed to infrastructure events to ensure business continuity)

·         Traffic Engineering- (Optimizes the flow of data across the enterprise, through identification of traffic patterns, flow mapping, queuing and other traffic traits on the network).

·         Performance Analytics-(Classifies and characterizes application traffic, identifies dependencies, and outlines the application nature and conduct over network infrastructure based on network analysis. Focused on impact, optimization, causation of host/network interaction.)
