This is a lead position for an OBIEE guy, duration is 6-9 months at NYC for a manufacturing company.
OBIEE LEAD
This person is responsible for leading and managing the strategy, architecture, development, support and maintenance of the integrated Oracle BI solution environment across the company. This person will work within a team responsible for process, standards, governance and performance of the shared structures and technical environment and will interact with all other delivery teams to approve and manage necessary changes to the central solution.
This role includes Vendor and Team Management responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Provide strong leadership by adhering to and creating standard departmental policies, process and documentation guidelines
• Ensuring quality delivery of team member deliverables in accordance to the processes and plan
• Establish and manage the process for providing a development environment for BI projects and then merging changes into the shared environment including release management and BI structure conflict management
• Balance processes and plans to ensure a reliable, high performing, maintainable shared environment with on time, on budget delivery of changes required by solution delivery teams.
• Manage and lead the team resources; coach and mentor the resources; create goals and development plans. Perform performance evaluations.
• Provide clear communication to leadership, project teams, and other stakeholders regarding processes and policies, status, plans, issues and mitigation
• Engage team, other IT, and Vendor resources to ensure the technical environment is reliable, high performing, and secure

• Meeting established SLAs for change management and incidents
• System availability and performance
• Number of incidents
Job Qualifications/Educational Requirements
•Bachelor's degree in required
§ 12+ years IT experience
§ 8+ years leading teams for a large complex organization
§ Strong experience with ETL/DAC, Informatica, BI Applications
§ Proven expertise in process creation and execution
§ Proven expertise with performance tracking and management
§ Experience setting up technical and process governance structures
§ Experience working with global teams and various business functions
§ Experience working with off shore resources
§ Strong program management experience with ability to prioritize resources across multiple projects
§ Understanding of BI concepts and technology is preferred
§ Expertise working with Oracle BI solutions is preferred
§ Expertise working with PeopleSoft Financials is preferred
§ Expertise working with various source systems and business functions
§ Functional knowledge in one of the following areas is preferred: Projects
§ Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
§ Must have interpersonal and politically savvy
§ Strong analytical and problem solving skills
§ Self starter with strong drive for results
§ Able to handle multiple priorities
