Position: Sr. Java UI Developer

Location: Concord, NH

Duration: 6 Months plus

Number of Positions# 5

 

 

Job Requirements

• Deep knowledge of the J2EE Framework and internals of  the architecture, including JSP, EJB, SERVLETS, APPLETS, JSF, JDBC, JMS,Transaction services, Logging (Log4J), Thread Management and development of asynchronous java processes

• Expertise with JSF including a minimum of 2 years hard core JSF development and experience with JSF 2.0 or 2.1

• Proficient with HTML UI, CSS, Javascript and JQuery

• Experience with eclipse, IBM RAD or similar including configuration

• Proficient with Websphere application servers or equal including knowledge of administration and configuration essentials

• Experience with Webservers like Apache or Tomcat

• Solid understanding of build and deployment tools like Maven, ANT /Cruise Control

• Experience in using version control systems like SVN or CVS or Clear Case

• Ability to perform code reviews and recommend automated review tools for the project

• Ability to think through performance requirements for a system and come out with testing those scenarios and troubleshoot server runtime issues that result

• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP)

• Strong knowledge of software implementation best practices

• Strong experience designing and working with n-tier architectures (UI, Business Logic Layer, Data Access Layer) along with some experience with

   service-oriented architectures (SOA)

• Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software is necessary

• Candidate should be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player and exhibit exceptional relationship management skills

• Ability to understand methodologies and tools used for delivery and display a passion to follow and devise processes for improving quality

 

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Primefaces JSF, preferably version 2.X or higher

• MyBatis and DB2 for persistence management

Experience     2+ years hard core JSF and 7+ years Java

Education       Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

 

Other 

• Experience in the Health and Human Services/ Title IV-A Eligibility business

• Candidates with Prior Deloitte Experience will be highly regarded.
