Oracle DBA:
An Senior level Oracle DBA with strong programming and performance tuning background, and strong experience in Oracle streams. Experience with Oracle Golden Gate is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
* Support production databases; Tune DB performance proactively; Tune Streams performance
* Install and maintain oracle Grid Control
* Database performance tuning at system and application levels, for dev and production databases
* Develop stored procedures and other database objects to implement some business logics in the database
* Design and manage database security, roles, and profiles
* Design and Implement disaster recovery plans
* Database capacity planning
* Develop scripts for database task scheduling, monitoring and maintenance
* Support all development and QA databases including installation, upgrade, backup, recovery, database refresh, and multi-language support
* Help other developers to understand and best utilize the Oracle database
Qualifications:
* Very strong Oracle database performance tuning skills; Very strong in Oracle streams.
* Experienced with Oracle Grid Control and RMAN backup
* Sql, PL/Sql, SQL*Loader, Datapump
* Unix Shell Scripting
* 8+ years of Production DBA experience supporting OLTP systems
* 2+ years of supporting Development environments, including experience with Oracle 11g
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Good communication skills. Ability to work with different teams and drive implementations
* Ability to perform in a fast-paced demanding environment
* Set up and maintain Oracle Streams
Desired Qualifications:
* Oracle Golden Gate Replication
* Linux/Unix Administration
* Oracle Dataguard and RAC
