Interview Mode:: Skype Required: Client Resources is looking for a PeopleSoft HCM Variable Compensation Functional Analyst to provide support for client’s upgrade to PeopleSoft Release 9.2. This will be a contract position with the timeframe starting as quickly as a resource is identified and will last until the upgrade go-live currently projected to be May 2014. This resource will be expected to demonstrate product functionality, conduct/document business process requirements and design workshops to identify pain-points, author specification documents, drive configuration and application security decisions, develop/document test conditions, scenarios, and scripts, conduct functional and integration testing,  develop training materials and provide knowledge transfer. This position requires a high level of facilitation and collaboration skills as well as application knowledge. The key tasks would be working within the Variable Compensation business process to create and manage multiple VC plans within the application. The consultant will work with the appropriate business teams to understand the current processes around compensation and variable compensation to: determine plan membership, set up goals, define data elements, set up business rules and options, define and create payout formulas, set up eligibility and award processing, and provide reporting. The consultant will also help the technical team with the integration points to other modules including eComp, Payroll, Payroll Interface, and Stock Administration.  The successful candidate must demonstrate the following skills: 7+ years of PeopleSoft Functional HR experience Expertise with PeopleSoft 9.1 Experience setting up Variable Compensation and support Experience with Payroll, eComp modules and understand how they integrate with VC Strong Documentation skills – Word, Excel, Visio Facilitation and public speaking Strong ability to effectively communicate business issues to senior and mid-level management Strong organizational skills Ability to make quick and effective decisions Preferred Experience: Component Interface Tax Calculations Have been a compensation manager
