Jr. /Mid/SR Level Email Developer

PRIMARY FUNCTION / POSITION SUMMARY:
• Working under the direction of the Email Development Manager, the Email Developer will provide the technical expertise to translate assure quality checks are performed and met for all emails. The Email Developer will work with a cross-functional team to establish email requirements and document functional specifications.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITES / PRINICIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Develop email campaigns using HTML authoring tools
• Report progress to the Email Development Manager and/or Senior Email Developer lead for project
• Document campaign issues and identify solutions
• Collaborate with senior staff to establish, review, and uphold development standards
• Keep abreast of changes in browser capabilities and multimedia development standards
• Recommend measures to improve work process methods.
• Assist in creating new department documentation as needed
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
• The work requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work with both internal and external clients
• General knowledge of HTML
• Working knowledge of Windows and Macintosh environments
• Strong written and verbal skills
• Working knowledge of browser technical issues and differences
• Understanding of browser error messages and possible resolutions
• Uses documented methodology to test web sites or software
• Knowledge of past and present operating systems
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Previous Work Experience
• Experience Preferred
o Experience with marketing or campaign management
o Adobe CS5 (Photoshop, Dreamweaver)
o Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint
• Educational Background
o Bachelor degree (Computer Science / Information Systems preferred) or equivalent experience
