Need Informatica Consultant --- Pawtucket, RI

Role: Informatica Consultant
Work Location: Pawtucket, RI, USA
Duration: 1 Year
Pay Rate per hour (payable to vendor): Open DOE
Total experience in required skill (years): 7 years
 
Desirable Technical / Functional Skills:  Informatica, SQL EDW, BO, SAP
 
Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills:
7+ years of experience in ETL.
Sound understanding of Informatica---
PowerCenter
Designer
Workflow Manager
Workflow Monitor
Repository Manager
Administrator Console
 
Sound understanding of SQL Server 2008 data modeling:
Star Schema & Extended Star Schema
ER Studio
At least 3 E2E Implementations
Should have good cross module knowledge and familiarity with SAP function areas
Excellent analysis and design, troubleshooting and problem resolution skills
Should be able to work with functional & BI teams to understand and build mappings required for ETL and develop Specifications
Strong written and verbal communication skills is a must
 
Roles and responsibility
Work closely with the various functional & BI teams to translate business requirements into optimal systems solutions
Create and maintain blueprints of a data architecture models in accordance with Hasbro standards
Convey technical methods and procedures to the BI team in support of the architecture designs
Analyze, Design & development solutions with Informatica tools
Provide technical support to the BI team during the BI development and onward including enhancements, defect resolution
Ensure that data protection policies (i.e. data security) as defined and adhered to
Create new data structures (i.e. DDL) and execute data scripts
Enhance the performance of ETL layer or Presentation layer queries which includes the tuning of queries and index determination.
Work with Onsite team in resolving any issues
Communicate effectively with end users in a multinational environment
Work with BI team in building solution and delivering mappings
Adherence to client coding standards
Work with Offshore/Near shore teams in resolving issues
Good team player and willing to stretch to achieve goals
